How to reach us
At the train station catch the bus number 3 and get off in Via Bembo, in front of the church Chiesa del Crocefisso (you can ask the driver). Via del Commissario is just in front of the bus stop. Walk down the street for 300 meters, Casa a Colori is on the right hand side.
If you arrive from the Milano-Venezia highway, exit at Padova Est. Follow the directions ZONA INDUSTRIALE/PIOVE DI SACCO. You will get to a junction with the freeway (Corso Argentina), take it and then take the exit 11, turn right into Via Bembo (direction CENTRO) and go straight to the first traffic light. Turn right into Via del Commissario, Casa a Colori is 300 meters down, on the right hand side.
If you arrive from the Bologna-Padova highway, exit at Padova Sud. After about 1km take the exit VENEZIA/CHIOGGIA/ZONA INDUSTRIALE. Go straight to the exit 11. At the roundabout turn left into Via Bembo (direction CENTRO) and go straight to the first traffic light. Turn right into Via del Commissario, Casa a Colori is 300 meters down, on the right hand side.
From the Marco Polo airport in Venice take the suburban bus (FS/SITA) towards Padova. Get off at the bus terminal and walk to the train station. Buy an urban ticket (APS) and take the bus number 3 towards Lion. Get off in Via Bembo, in front of the church Chiesa del Crocefisso (you can ask the driver). Via del Commissario is just in front of the bus stop. Walk down the street for 300 meters, Casa a Colori is on the right hand side.
Location and attractions
Located in the south-east area of Padua, Casa a Colori is the perfect solution! From here, with the bus number 3, you can quickly reach the city center or the train station.
Outside your room you can enjoy many possibilities of leisure and engagement. Padua, religious destination famous for the S. Anthony Basilica, is very charming for its strong dynamism and its beautiful attractions: don’t miss the Scrovegni Chapel, frescoed by Giotto, the old university Botanical Garden, the Loggia and the Odeo Cornaro – among the highest evidences of the Renaissance in Padua – and Prato della Valle, where it’s possible to visit the Santa Giustina Abbey, and take the free shuttle to S. Anthony Basilica.
In Padua there is always a lot going on, the Kioene Arena hosts sport events and concerts, the Exhibition Center hosts interesting fairs; from Casa a Colori you can also reach the Industrial Zone and the Commercial Area, where you can go shopping among the most renowned Italian and international chains.
Moreover, at the A4 highway Padova Est exit, IKEA is waiting for you! At the end of your shopping tours, we recommend some relax with an aperitivo in one of the squares in the city center.
For a trip out of town, you can relax in Montegrotto and Abano Terme, easily reachable by train or even by bicycle, through the new well-lighted path along the Battaglia river, or you can take an excursion among the nature, tasting local food and wines in Asiago or on the Euganean Hills. You can also visit the medieval town Montagnana or enjoy the peaceful Praglia Abbey in Teolo.
